“Emily has been one of the driving forces behind Get After It Media’s evolution and success over the last 16 years. She's helped shape our overall creative vision and our corporate culture. Her promotion is well deserved." — Joel Wertman, Co-President & CEO, Get After It Media
Get After It Media has announced the elevation of veteran executive, Emily Bronze, to Senior Vice President and General Manager. In this elevated role, Bronze serves as the company’s "human API," seamlessly integrating complex operations and bridging the gap between creative vision and operational excellence.
This elevation comes at a transformative period for the company as it aggressively expands its physical and digital footprint. Bronze has been entrusted to oversee the development of The Heartland Network’s brand-new studios in Nashville’s historic Marathon Village, which will serve as the hub for a new slate of upcoming original series. This expansion provides the essential infrastructure to support the network's traditional broadcast growth while ensuring a stable operational environment to house and support the rollout of the upcoming Heartland+ app.
Even as she helps steer the company’s strategic direction, Bronze remains a hands-on creative force. She continues to produce a robust portfolio of Heartland original productions, including The Chuck Wicks Show, Heartland Backstage, More Than the Music, and the highly anticipated competition series, Barbecue Country.
“Emily has been one of the driving forces behind Get After It Media’s evolution and success over the last 16 years,” said Joel Wertman, CEO and Co-President of Get After It Media. “She brings a rare combination of creative instinct, operational leadership, and deep loyalty to the company’s mission. Emily has helped shape not just our content, but our culture, and this promotion is a well-earned recognition of the extraordinary role she plays in our growth and future.”
Having just celebrated her 16th anniversary with the company (formerly Luken Communications), Bronze has been a cornerstone of the organization’s evolution. Her tenure is marked by a versatile leadership style that has seen her serve as Interim President as well as Vice President, where she was instrumental in the launch of The Heartland Network and the production of its first original series, More Than the Music.
"As one of the longest-serving members of this team, I have had the unique privilege of watching Get After It Media evolve from its roots into the powerhouse it is today," says Bronze. "I am deeply honored to step into this new role during such a transformative chapter, and I am thrilled to continue working under the leadership of Joel Wertman and Otto Padron as we continue to push boundaries and grow our footprint in the industry."
A 24-year veteran of the media industry, Bronze’s career has come full circle — from her on-camera debut at age six as an extra in the television movie A Winner Never Quits to her newly announced role as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Get After It Media.
